I every experience was a great one. The Enzian lived up to the memories we had and the brunch was out of this world. We ate at a Mexican food restaurant and it had outside dining, was in the downtown area and service as well as food was excellent. Even the public restrooms were clean.
Oh my gosh. First , I have to say that I love Americanized mexican food. I love ground beef in my tacos, enchiladas, etc. Here in Astoria, I never eat Mexican food because I can't get ground beef. I've tried the restaurants here and just don't like them. We went to South because my husband almost never gets to have Mexican on vacation, so I thought I'd suck it up and suffer through it. The food was AMAZING. I can't stress strongly enough how good it is. I had the chicken poblano enchiladas, and they were fabulous, but my husband got the carnitas tacos, and they were to die for. I seriously can't express how delicious they are. Since we live so far away, I'm seriously going to need the recipe for the pork and the red cabbage slaw that accompanied the tacos. I even loved the black beans, which I'm normally not a fan of. Our server, I think it was Rebecca, (sorry if that's wrong), was wonderful, attentive, and gave great recommendations even though she had her hands full and was basically a one woman show while we were there.
Awesome Mexican food and cocktails. Had Chile Relleno and Poblano Chicken. Both were outstanding and the salsas were fantastic. Patio is delightful.
One of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever been! All the dishes were delicious! Drinks were amazing too. Service was great. The atmosphere is so cozy and lively! The cherry blossom corner was perfect!
This place is perfect for enjoying Mexican cuisine with a cozy and inviting ambiance. The seating is comfortable, the service is excellent. The salad was too good. A great choice for anyone looking for delicious food and a welcoming vibe!
Best Mexican food in Leavenworth and some of the best I've ever had anywhere. My wife isn't especially fond of authentic Mexican food, and even SHE loves it! She even wrote her own review. The purple slaw is good on everything.I recommend the Dirtyface Amber Ale to drink although they have cocktails too and my wife had a margarita.
Fantastic! The food was tasty and had a homemade feel, without being too heavy and drowning in cheese and sauce like it can be at some Mexican restaurants. There were some good vegetarian options (including the rice and beans!) and the food came out SO FAST.
The chips with the seasoning, salsa and cilantro line were excellent. The enchiladas and burrito bowls are great options for vegetarians. The only downside is that the service is slow. I would highly recommend ordering the dip and chips sampler. It costs 5 and comes with unlimited refills.
